Messengers of the New Covenant shares Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) within the Jewish Community of New Jersey & beyond. Our activities have included outreach ministries, literature distribution, Bible Studies, the discipling of Jewish believers, Messianic Fellowship gatherings and combating anti-Semitism. Mottel Baleston is a Jewish believer in Messiah and the Director. He's often a guest speaker in churches, sharing pulpit sermons, messages & seminars to help Christians appreciate the Jewish roots of their faith. His presentations also allow Jewish friends to consider the claims of Jesus as Messiah in a way they can relate to.

We believe that the Jewish Torah (Scriptures) promised a Messiah for both Jews and Gentiles. Yeshua was born as the fulfillment of those Bible promises. No Synagogue, Church or Temple can provide forgiveness of sin, only through personal faith in Messiah Yeshua/Jesus and His atonement do we experience true peace with God. We have personally seen many of our own Jewish people embrace Messiah and go on to maturity.

For many years Messengers had a weekly Friday evening Messianic Jewish Fellowship in our Montclair NJ center. Those times saw many of our Jewish people coming to Messiah and growing in their faith. We then brought the fellowship group part of our ministry together with Beth Messiah Messianic Congregation of Livingston NJ, where Mottel Baleston took on a second role and served as Messianic Rabbi / Pastor. Those years were a time of great activity which saw the congregation double in size to become able to call a full time leader. In addition to his other ministries, Mottel continued to serve there as Associate Messianic Rabbi, Teaching Elder, Worship Team Leader, Hebrew Class Instructor, Home Group Leader and several other roles thru 2014. People came to faith and many were discipled. We have warm memories of our time there.

In recent years we have shifted toward greater emphasis on outreach in the Metro region and being available to teach in various churches & congregations. We share seminars and messages on the topics seen on our webpage 'Teaching DVD's'. We also conduct Messianic Jewish Passover Seders and Holiday gatherings, and since 2018 have conducted Northwest Jersey Messianic Fellowships, collaborating with other ministries to hold holiday gatherings for Hanukkah, Purim, Passover, Rosh HaShanah and Sukkot in the Morris County area. We continue to do outreach, discipleship and teach in churches. Each summer we have a key role in Ariel's Shoshanah Messianic Bible School in upstate New York, teaching many class sessions. Our YouTube Bible teaching channel is now reaching over 5,010 subscribers! - Finally, our video series: "Our Messiah is Jewish", is in its' 4th season with our 45 half-hour professional studio sessions filmed.
