THE EIGHT COVENANTS
OF THE BIBLE Believers often use the phrase: "the Covenant Keeping God", but few actually have an understanding of just what those Covenants are or who they were made with. Some Covenants were made with the nation of Israel alone, others applied to all the world. Some Covenants were restricted to a fixed time period, others are still in full legal force today. Over six hours of solid Biblical
teaching, recorded live at Ariel headquarters in 2008. Professionally
edited and divided into chapters corresponding to the teaching outline.

THE HOLOCAUST: HISTORY AND THEOLOGY This course covers the history of The Shoah, The Holocaust in Europe 1933-1945, and interprets it from a biblical perspective. We discuss how attitudes of some in European Christendom promoted a 'teaching of contempt' toward the Jewish people and paved the way to the Holocaust. This study incorporates Jewish history and affirms the reliability of Scripture, illustrating and further explaining the Biblical narrative. It corrects misconceptions and prejudices regarding the Jewish people, as well as explains the Jewish opposition towards Christendom. The student will better understand the God of History and His unique relationship to His covenant people. In this series, Mottel also relates the experiences of his Grandparents during the violent Pogroms that swept Jewish villages in eastern Europe 100 years ago. Over six hours of solid Biblical & Historical teaching, recorded live during Camp Shoshanah 2007. Professionally edited and divided into chapters corresponding to the teaching outline. Put the DVD into your player and attend class when it's convenient for you. Move forward or backward through chapters to review lesson segments at anytime. The Holocaust: History and Theology Outline can be printed from the Ariel website and followed along with the teaching. This is the same outline that Camp Shoshanah students received during class. Available as a set of DVD Videos or MP3 Audio files on CD. |

INTRODUCTION TO
JUDAISM Over nine hours of solid teaching, recorded live during Camp Shoshanah 2008. This course provides a very informative overview of modern Rabbinical Judaism, its practices, beliefs and culture. Judaism today is divided: Orthodox/Hasidic, Conservative and Reform/Progressive. These groups have some core beliefs they share, but differ greatly in their views regarding the Bible, God, Messiah, Lifestyle, Politics & Morality. These are explained, and differences with Biblical and Messianic Judaism are honestly laid out. Mottel visibly demonstrates the practices of the Tefillin (Phylacteries), the Kipah (headcovering), the Siddur (Prayerbook) & Tallit (Prayer Shawl). A PowerPoint of 64 slides was also used and is available to those who purchase the DVD set. As a Jewish believer in Messiah Jesus who embraces Grace & sound doctrine, Mottel teaches these things NOT to move believers toward Rabbinic Judaism, but rather to have believers able to understand the current Jewish community so as to be better able to communicate their faith. Approximate Running Time: 9.1 hours, on 6 DVDs. Use the menu to move forward or backward through chapters to review lesson segments at anytime. Print the course outline and follow along with Mottel as he teaches. |
