Grace Church, NJ - Tracing the Pathway of Salvation from Old to New Testament
In 3 sessions we taught
this vital truth.
EKKLESIA TV is the
Evangelical Christian TV Network in Italy.
Our friends in Italy (2019
speaking tour) arranged for Dr. Arnold Fruchtenbaum, Dr. Roger Leibi & myself to
each pre-record a one hour video teaching on Israel in Prophecy, which was then
sub-titled in Italian,
(many Italian young people understand English), and shown on a main, commercial
Italian TV Network.
Then a live 2 hour session was held with the 3 teachers, fielding Bible
questions with a translator (screen shot below).

Passover Seder Outreach April 2022, Hackettstown, New Jersey - The Passover Seder is a ritual which our Jewish people have continually observed for over 3,000 years. Passover is first found in the book of Exodus and celebrates our release from physical bondage in Egypt. As Jews, Jesus and His disciples celebrated the Passover, with the "Last Supper " being the best known example. Increasingly, Christians are enjoying the celebration of Passover as they discover the Jewish roots of their faith. Our presentation demonstrates that the Passover service contains rituals which clearly point to Jesus as Messiah. - Believers invite friends & neighbors to hear us make a strong case that Jesus is the greater Passover Lamb, the Jewish Messiah and that all need to respond in faith to His Messianic claims. That is the main point of why we conduct a Seder. |

usual Passover Utensils and ritual foods as commanded in the Book of Exodus

Messianic Passover Home Seder, April 2022, Morris County, New Jersey - An informal Messianic Fellowship has emerged in Northwest New Jersey and we are part of it. At this point we have 2 participating ministries and are open to others, we've met in 2 different homes and occasionally in larger halls. The more intimate home setting allows for fewer concerns expressed by those still outside of Messiah. The Passover service is usually celebrated in a home setting, and we had a mixed group at this one. The Passover service contains rituals which clearly point to Jesus as Messiah. These sorts of events allow us to make a strong case that Jesus is the greater Passover Lamb, the Jewish Messiah and that all need to respond in faith to His Messianic claims. |

ZOOM BIBLE SEMINAR
FOR CHINESE SPEAKERS, One of the young men who has been a student in my summer Bible classes was born in Taiwan, and came to the USA as a child with his parents. His English name is Vincent, and he is a member of a weekly worldwide Bible Study group for Chinese speakers with an interest in the Jewish roots of our Christian faith. In April he arranged for me to teach the group an overview of the Christian significance of the Old Testament Holy Days as seen in Leviticus 23. We had over 105 households viewing, with some from mainland China, so that is why the Zoom ID & Password are blacked out in the ad at left. Vincent translated for me and the chart was translated into Chinese. The screenshot below just shows the first 3 rows of participants, with most not on camera for safety, there were over 20 rows!

My 5 day ministry
trip to Henderson, a heavily Jewish suburb of Las Vegas was far more
fruitful than we would have imagined before hand. On Friday evening I ministered at a Messianic Jewish Congregation with many Jewish attendees, a few were new believers. The congregation is led by a friend of mine with sound doctrine. They told me that the visit was an encouragement to them. |

The Hebrew name of the
congregation, Beth Yeshua means House of Jesus and they begin each service
with a number of traditional Jewish worship blessings (1st Cor. 9:20), as well
as Praise Dance.

Jeff, on the left is a Jewish
believer who grew up in the New York area, and Shmuel Oppenheim on right is a
legendary figure among
Jewish believers in the West. He was born to Jewish parents and grew up in a
small ranching town in west Texas where his family ran
the only store. After coming to faith in Messiah he got some training and went
on to start the first Messianic Congregation in Las Vegas.
They saw many Jewish people come to faith and birthed 2 other congregations. Now
retired, he is an inspiration & encouragement.
Full day of Jewish Outreach seminars at Anthem Community Church

My 5 day ministry
trip to Henderson, Nevada, a heavily Jewish suburb of Las Vegas was
far more fruitful than we would have imagined before hand. I was
asked to come out by the staff of Anthem Church, a growing
evangelical congregation who wanted to reach the heavily Jewish
population of their area Saturday was a long full day where I taught FOUR full 1 hour seminars with attendance of about 140 which greatly surprised the church sponsors. We taught on understanding your Jewish neighbor, responding to common objections, Messianic evidences from the Old Testament and many other subjects needed for those folks to effectively reach their neighborhood. During the lunch
in between I sat with 'David' as related in the PDF, he is Jewish
and his believing wife brought him out, where he listened to all for
Saturday seminars. He returned on Sunday where I preached three
large identical services, with an hour break after the second and it
was then that he approached me to ask questions. It was so clear
that the Lord was dealing with him that I quickly presented the
gospel exclusively from the prophecies of Isaiah, and asked him
where he stood. He said he fully believed that, and that without
doubt Yeshua/Jesus is the Messiah and Savior. We prayed to make that
moment a firm point in time he could look back on as the moment he
was saved. |
We had about 140 people in
attendance, and arranged the tables seminar style for a time of learning.
Each of the 4 teaching sessions had Handouts, Charts, PowerPoints or outlines.
 They asked me to teach them one Hebrew song from the Bible, so we had the words of "HINE MA TOV" from Psalm 133:1 in transliterated letters on the PowerPoint. |

3:30 pm, so lunch was served
Messianic Bible
Discipleship Program in New York at
Shoshanah Campus Summer 2022
| - Each Summer Mottel teaches for
three or more weeks at the Discipleship Program for Jewish & Gentile
believers run by Ariel Ministries at their Shoshanah Conference
Center in upstate NY. This is a fully collaborative endeavor and
benefits the Jewish believers we are discipling in our ministry.
When the program began over 30 years ago it was only open to Jewish believers,
now it's open to all. It was vital to Mottel & Deborah's early spiritual growth and so it is a privilege
for Mottel to teach there and to have believers we work with attending.
- Many of the believers there have come to faith in recent years. The program entails over 5 hours of classes per day at the Bible College level, so the students tend to be serious and MOST teach Bible themselves in their home areas. In 2022 the program averaged about 35 adult students each week, it's a bounce back year after Covid, with about 145 different students over the full 8 weeks of the teaching schedule. - Importantly, over the years many who were initially discipled here went on to full time Jewish outreach ministry. Mottel usually teaches 2 courses per day, and has counseling, leadership and occasional music responsibilities. |

The graphic below shows the 4 species mentioned in Leviticus which are used during the holiday. Sukkot points to the future dwelling of Messiah Jesus with mankind during the Millennial Kingdom.

Funeral Service for For many years I have learned from, and occasionally taught beside Dr. Arnold Fruchtenbaum, a Jewish believer in Messiah Jesus, a Bible Scholar, graduate of Dallas Seminary, with over a dozen major books to his name. He is the founder of the summer Bible School where I teach each summer, and a friend. After years of a debilitating condition, his wife MaryAnn passed away in October 2022 and is with the Lord. I was able to have a part in her funeral service, where many shared testimonies of how her life & ministry touched them. |
