MARCH 2018 TOUR OF ISRAEL & the HOLY LAND

Mottel Baleston says:  Pastor Armin Sommer has been a friend of our ministry for 30 years. He has the ability to explain the Scriptures in a way that makes it easy for all to understand. He leads a large church in Netcong, New Jersey, GRACE Church on the Mount. He has a positive understanding of the place of the Jewish people in God's plan. He has hosted previous tours of Israel and will put that experience to use for us. I am delighted to co-lead this tour of Israel & the Holy Land with him.

In 1988 my wife and I had the privilege of living in Jerusalem for 3 months while we were enrolled in Hebrew language school there. We walked everywhere in the Holy City and got to meet believers from both Jewish & Arab backgrounds.

Over the years I've had the privilege of teaching a number of Israeli believers in Messiah Jesus when they came to our summer Messianic Bible School in New York. I will seek to arrange to have one of these Israeli Jewish believers share his testimony & ministry with us one evening in an optional session.

We won't publicly post the name of our Professional Israeli Tour Guide, but he was born into a Jewish family, speaks English fluently and came to faith in Messiah Jesus as a young adult. He has served in the Israeli Defense Forces, and is one of the Bible teachers at an evangelical congregation in Israel.

This tour will feature true luxury accommodations at the Sea of Galilee and at Jerusalem and uses a modern bus with restroom. Our Hotel in Jerusalem, the 'David Citadel', is a new hotel, is in a prime location overlooking the ancient walls of the city of Jerusalem with a view of the Jaffa gate.

IS IT SAFE? Everyone in Israel loves American Christian Tour Groups. They provide employment to both Jews & Arabs. Yes it's safe for us.
The conflicts you usually hear of involve disputes between Israeli "Settlers" and Moslem militants.

1. We are using just two better hotels for our tour: the Ramot Nofesh Resort, located along the Sea of Galilee and the 'David Citadel', in a prime location overlooking the ancient walls of the Old City of Jerusalem with a view of the Jaffa gate. Both are centrally located to many Holy Sites, and using just these two means less time wasted packing and moving from hotel to hotel. When I Googled: "David Citadel Hotel Jerusalem", I was shocked at how it overlooked the walls of the Old City, and very impressed by the luxury. My co-host Pastor Armin stayed here on his last tour and was beyond pleased.
2. Our Licensed Israeli Tour Guide (his full-time job) was born into a Jewish family, speaks English & Hebrew fluently and came to faith in Messiah Jesus as a young adult. He has served in the Israeli Defense Forces, attained Officer Rank, and is one of the Bible teachers at an evangelical congregation in Israel. He knows how to maximize our tour time.
